The Knight in the Panther’s Skin Released in Bulgarian
Legendary Georgian epic poem, from iconic Georgian author Shota Rustaveli is now available in the Bulgarian language.

Bulgarians have now joined the rest of the world and can read the medieval poem ‘The knight
in the Panther’s Skin’ in their native language.

This edition is dedicated to the 850th anniversary of author Shota Rustaveli and was published with the support of the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Bulgaria and the Georgian Diaspora in Bulgaria.

The translated poem was gifted to Bulgaria’s President, Prime Minister, cabinet members, and libraries in Bulgaria.

American poet and writer Lyn Coffin published the first accurate poetic interpretation into English last year.
