Irakli Pirtskhalava recorded a song for Russian team for Sochi Olympics 2014

Singer Irakli Pirtskhalava recorded a song for the Russian Team for the upcoming 2014 Sochi Olympic Games. Pirtskhalava said the idea about the single – titled “We Believe in You” – had first come to him while he acted as an Olympic torch-bearer in Novgorod.
“All of us – musicians, sportsmen, supporters – think it is important to support our team at the Olympics. We want our competitors to know we believe in them and will be cheering for them. I hope
hearing the song will make them hungrier for success”, the singer said.
The video for the song featured celebrities of Russian show business, including Iosif Kobzon, Anita Tsoy, Sati Kazanova, Yulia Kovalchuk and Pier Narciss. Also featured in the video are popular athletes like gymnast Svetlana Khorkina, hockey player Pavel Bure and boxer Nikolai Valuev.
