President Margvelashvili's on-stage 'Happy New Year' to Georgia
“We must turn the independence, which we have already gained, into freedom,” President Giorgi Margvelashvili said in the Freedom Square, where he wished a Happy New Year to population.

He joined the New Year gala concert in the Freedom Square and addressed the citizens of Georgia from the stage.

"Congratulations. I'm happy to be here today. I’m with you and I'm here to wish a Happy New Year to all Georgia.

I want to start my congratulations with our soldiers who defend
our state, as well as our compatriots living abroad. We love you and miss you.

I also want to mention our compatriots living in the occupied territories and tell them that we have a common future.

I also want to wish a Happy New Year to our future generation which will govern this country in the future,” said the President.
