The executive director of Interactive Glove LTD and the author of the creative idea behind InGlove, Dimitri Tskhovrebadze, told Businesspressnews about the competition and Georgian students’ success. geotv.ge

‘In German city of Bremen, Jacobs holds global startup competition, where top-universities from around the globe participate. Among them are Massachusetts Technological University, Stanford, Yale etc. We represent three Georgian universities – Agrarian University, Free University and Tbilisi State University. 127 projects were registered in the competition and we made it to the top ten. In the final competition, we took the first spot and we received three thousand Euros’, - Dimitri Tskhovrebadze says.

Apart from Tskhovrebadze, who studies at the Free University, the ‘interactive glove’ is being developed by Giorgi Gabarashvili from Agrarian University and TSU representative Giorgi Meshveliani.

‘This glove gives
us the possibility to physically feel the virtual reality. For example, if we play the game where we make a snowball, with this glove we can actually feel the snowball as well as its temperature. This is the main idea’, - Tskhovrebadze says.

He also added that at present, his team is working on a game, where the users will be able to use this interactive glove.

Interactive Glove LTD startup caught interest of many companies, including one German enterprise.
