At present there are more than 150 000 PWD’s in Georgia and one of the main problems for them
is unemployment.

“In order to help persons with disabilities to live independent life it is crucial for them to develop new skills and be employed. So we established Babale that is aimed at promoting and supporting inclusive education as well employment among persons with disabilities. On the first stage we teach them professional skills as well as how to get to work using public transport. In many cases these basic skills need to be developed, since sometimes schools and families cannot support them to advance themselves. On the second stage they do internship to acquire particular profession and on the last stage they are employed”, - Says one of the founders of the enterprise Lia Tabatadze.

According to her, currently  the enterprise does not get enough revenue to carry out social projects, yet if everything goes well and the production increases, it will fulfill its goals.

So if you want to bring happiness to your home, make your Christmas tree look special and simultaneously do a good deed, then definitely drop in to the workshop and get an angle for yourself.
