New Year festivities in Tbilisi: Places to enjoy your holidays
In relation to New Year the city offers its citizens as well as foreign guests a plenty of entertaining and interesting activities. Christmas Market and New Year City were opened on December 25th at renovated Agmashenebli Avenue, known as New Tiflis, and Deda Ena (Mother Tongue) Park that will last until January 2nd. During this period anyone is more than welcome to attend various events and concerts for free at these venues as well as enjoy Georgian food and buy some handmade souvenirs and traditional sweets. A decorative train has been installed in New Tiflis where each train wagon has a shape of a New Year gift. It is noteworthy that the New Year City equally offers to both kids and adults a variety of events and amusing activities. Within the frames of the program, theatrical performances will take place as well as
outstanding Georgian musicians and popular DJs will perform for the public and create festive atmosphere. The main concert will be held in the vicinity of Rose Revolution Square on December 31st.

Today a hip-hop live concert will take place at Deda Ena Park at 19:00 featuring famous Davit Evgenidze and his band and at 21:00 it will be followed by DJ sets and Live Acts by acclaimed Georgian musicians Misho Urushadze, Gocha Bakradze and Natalia Beridze. So, hurry up, New Year Tbilisi is waiting for you.
