‘Batumi BackYard stories’ to revive in Adjara

‘Batumi BackYard stories’ is revived in old Batumi’s streets. Wishing room, an iron construction in the shape of an angel and other exotic details – artists have created a new story with forgotten stories. Khulo street residents participate in making public art. ‘Batumi BackYard Stories’ will last for three days. It’s the second year that the non-governmental organization "Mikroponi" has organized the project. The event is supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara and City Hall of
Batumi.
The "Batumi Backyard Stories" is a cultural initiative that brings together working process of artists in public space-in Batumi yards and streets. In the frames of the project Georgian and foreign artists together with inhabitants of backyards will interpret interesting personal histories, photo materials of families, household stuff, urban environment of backyard and daily life on artists’ language.
