A magnificent performance of Sukhishvili to the Last of the Mohicans’ musical theme
05 August, 2015
Everyone knows Sukhishvilebi, the famous Georgian National Ballet ensemble that has held thousands of concerts throughout the world and introduced Georgian culture to many nations.

Usually the ensemble performs to Georgian folk music, but there are exceptions. For example, in this video the dancers have presented a new Georgian dance called “Tsdo”, accompanied by a musical theme from a cult movie The Last of the Mohicans.

The dance is named after the highland village of Tsdo in Georgia’s Kazbegi municipality.
The dance troupe’s experiment turned out to be a success, with the traditional Georgian dance fitting the popular tune splendidly.
