What Are the Differences Between Cell Phone Batteries? Cell phone batteries drain power based on how much you use the device and which features you have enabled. OEM, or original equipment manufacturer, batteries differ from non-OEM batteries mainly Chinese .
Will Leaving Your Bluetooth On Deplete Your Battery in Your Cell Phone? Leaving your cell phone’s Bluetooth or Wi-Fi features on when not in use can deplete the device’s energy more quickly than if they are disconnected when not in
use.
Does a Larger mAh Number on Your Cell Phone Battery Mean a Better Battery? An ideal cell phone battery has a high mAh (milliampere per hour) capacity. A battery might have a very high mAh rating but if it does not hold a charge well, it is not a better battery. The type of battery influences the battery capacity in mAh and many other characteristics. The latest battery types using lithium score the highest on essential features.
Cell phones are highly susceptible to water damage. Once inside a phone, water can bridge the gap between different electrical contacts, creating short circuits that can damage or destroy a phone and its battery.
If a cell phone isn’t holding a charge, is it the battery or the charger? Even the best cell phone is useless if its battery can’t hold a charge. Troubleshooting the battery-to-charger connection should be your first step in solving this problem.
What Are the Dangers of Taking the Battery Out of a Cell Phone? At some point, you may have to remove the battery from your cell phone. This could be because you need to replace the battery, check to see if some water got inside of your phone or perform routine maintenance. However, some dangers are associated with this task. If you’re not certain whether it’s safe for you to take the battery out, consult at your cell phone store.
Can you overcharge your iPhone, Samsung, HTC, LG or Nokia Battery? Apple, Samsung, Nokia and other producers use lithium batteries, which are rechargeable, so you can plug your device in and let it charge for multiple uses. The lithium battery uses a trickle charge at the end of charging, so you don’t need to worry about overcharging your battery by leaving the phone plugged in once it has reached a full charge.
Advances in technology and the introduction of lithium as a chemical base have reduced the size and weight of phone batteries while increasing their endurance, often referred to as “talk time.” Today’s cell phone batteries are very reliable and can be recharged many times.
The guideline is to check voltage, capacity and manufacturer of the replacement battery. Please do not improvise with chargers if it fits the mobile –you can plug it in, it does not necessarily mean that it is good for the mobile battery ! Always buy batteries and chargers in the well-know stores like “Kidobani” and NOKIA, Samsung .
