World’s fashion retailers to produce jeans in Georgia

ZARA, MANGO, Bershka, Massimo Dutti will produce jeans in the small town of Ozurgeti, in Georgia’s western region of Guria, where a new clothing factory is planned to be opened.

The factory will launch operation in 2018.

At the first stage, Turkish company "Baykanlar" will invest 2 million GEL in opening the clothing factory in Ozurgeti and will employ 300 people.

Over the next three years, creating a full sewing cycle, increasing the investment volume up to 15 million dollars
and employing up to 1500 people is planned.

Company "Ozurgeti Garment" has already been registered in Georgia. The company has already applied to Ministry of Economy for transmitting real estate as part of Produce in Georgia program. The agreement will be officially signed in several days.
