First Georgian who started business on Amazon
Many people around the world think that only large companies have the opportunity to sell products via Amazon. This erroneous opinion will be changed when you get acquainted to the program called Amazon FBA, which gives the opportunity to any minor company to produce and sell its own products via this popular retailer. Amazon will receive the product, warehouse it, send it to the buyer and ensure the communication with problematic customers as well.

Levan Molashvili is the first Georgian
who has already started business with the Amazon FBA program. By cooperation with the investment company Kedari Ventures Levan has recently created his own enterprise called Amazon Export Hub, which will enable those interested to get involved in the program and will provide any help.
"I learned about this program from Ukrainians after the national currency rate dropped in the former CIS countries. Amazon FBA is a good way to generate money in American currency", - Levan Molashvili, a co-founder of Amazon Export Hub explains.

Tell us about the Amazon FBA program. How is it different from the traditional sales at "Amazon" and what are its advantages?

The project "Amazon FBA" allows anyone interested in e-commerce and the sale of the products on the global market, to study the business and deal with the most successful trading platform.

Involvement in the program is easy because anyone can send a minimum amount of products to Amazon, which means that a small amount of money is required for investment. Additionally, warehousing and storing a product at Amazon costs only $40 per month, which makes the process very beneficial and affordable.

It should be especially attractive for citizens of Georgia to earn income in the American currency, which leaves a high margin of profit after conversion into Georgian currency.

Is Georgia actively involved in the Amazon FBA program?

Unfortunately, Georgia is very little involved in this process, while the citizens of our neighboring countries have been actively involved in the program and are looking for solid profits. I have to say that the huge potential of Amazon's market is not used in Georgia due to the lack of information and technical knowledge. As far as I know, a small number of Georgians who participate in this program live and work abroad, so they are unable to share their knowledge with other Georgian citizens. In short, we can say that Georgia and in general the Caucasus region is practically absolutely not involved in this process.

You are the first Georgian who participated in the Amazon FBA program. Tell us about this process.

It happened a few months ago: I underwent some training courses in Ukraine, with a team of professionals, studied the case from a theoretical as well as practical point of view and then, after returning to Georgia, I made my first project: I sent handmade artifacts, which did not really require much effort, but was quite expensive at Amazon. The first product that we sold on Amazon was clay items that we have prepared in Georgia for 1 lari and we sold it for $ 12,59. Then the wood products were added and they were also quite successful.

After the first success, you have created an Amazon Export Hub. In what direction does your company work?

After successfully sending some products on Amazon, I am ready to share my knowledge and experience with Georgian citizens. To do this, we set up the company Amazon Export Hub. Emphasis will be made on 3 directions. First of all it is teaching. The course includes the practical implementation of the registration process, market analysis, logistics and support for the system and, in addition, taking the first positions in the warehouse controlling and advertisements ("listing"). We also offer intermediary consulting services for the people who do not pass the courses but are willing to sell their products on Amazon.

The company is newly established and we plan to start the first course in January. We want the public to know that this is a real opportunity for Georgian citizens to receive a substantial income with minimal investment.
