New special tool makes eating Khinkali much easier
Georgia’s foreign visitors and even locals often find it challenging to eat khinkali, the so called king of Georgian dishes.These feisty dumplings require special skills to avoid spilling the juice and meat.

For those who find it difficult to eat this juicy and extremely delicious Georgian dish, there is a new special tool named Hop-Hop, that lets you enjoy the delicious meal without burning your fingers or getting them wet.

Moreover, as authors of the tool say, Hop-Hop gives you
opportunity to eat Khinkali only with your one hand instead of two. People behind the invention think the tool will be extremely useful in Georgian restaurants. However the Hop-Hop caused controversial reactions among the social media users. According to the company, by using Hop-Hop, you will not lose even one drop of its delicious juice, as drinking Khinkali juice is the most enjoyable part of the whole process.

Khinkali tastes especially delicious when it is hot, but it is sometimes uncomfortable to catch hot dumpling in your hands. With using Hop-Hop, Khinkali lovers will not have to wait until the dumplings cool down, they can use the holder instead of their fingers and enjoy hot meal as soon as it is boiled. It should be noted that, using Hop-Hop is quite easy as long as all you have to do is to hold the holder in your hand and grab Khinkali with it.

Khinkali, which is a Georgian type of dumpling, originated in mountainous regions of Mtiuleti, Pshavi and Khevsureti. Later Khinkali varieties spread across the Caucasus region. They are made of mixed pork and beef, sometimes of lamb. You can also use mushrooms, potatoes, or cheese instead of meat as stuffing for Khinkali. Khinkali is the perfect dish for celebrations, to help with a hangover or simply to warm up with on a cold rainy day.
