H&M, Mango, Zara, Benetton clothes to Be manufactured in Georgia

H&M, Mango, Zara, Coast, Colveta, United Colors of Benetton, and Oasis brand clothes will be manufactured in Georgia. Agency Enterprise Georgia releases the information about it.

Within the framework of the project, MGMTex, an enterprise created by Georgian-Romanian investment starts to manufacture clothing for men and women.

Top international brand’s clothing will be manufactured in the factory based in Kutaisi, the capital of the western region of Imereti. In particular, the enterprise will be locatd at Z. Gamsakhurdia Ave. #

MGMTex is a subsidiary of Romanian clothing manufacturer Ottorose, which manufactures its products for the world-famous brands such as H&M, Mango, Zara, „oast, Colveta, United Collors of Benneton, Oasis, etc.

The company was interested in business expansion in Georgia 6 months ago. Prior to making the decision, the Agency was studying investment opportunities in Georgia.

According to the statement released by the company MGMTex, the enterprise will kick off in Kutaisi in early April 2018, and is expected to generate 3300,000 GEL annually.

At the first stage, the enterprise plans to employ 250 people. Adding another 350 employees in future is also planned.

The enterprise will be export-oriented; in particular it will export high quality products made with the latest technology in European countries such as Romania, Sweden, etc.

At this stage, the sum of the investment amounts to 1 200 000 GEL and the company plans to invest additional 2 500 000 GEL in the future.
