The price for extreme sports in Georgia
Georgia offers a variety of options to extreme sport lovers. Zip-line, Paragliding, rafting, extreme rides on land, extreme rides at sea, X-park and off-road - This is a list of the extreme sports available in different parts of Georgia. Whether it is summer or winter in Georgia, tourists have the possibility of enjoying a wide range of adventure sports on land or at sea at a reasonable price.

Zip-line – which is a steel rope
facility outstretched between two remote points. The free pulley hung on the cable allows people to slide between the two points. Zip-line has become more popular in recent years. The longest zip-line of 800m is located in Sairme (a resort town in the western part of Georgia). Cables can also be found in Signagi (eastern part of Georgia), Pshavi, Pasanauri (mountainous regions in eastern Georgia) and Chili Lake (near Tbilisi) and Narikala (Tbilisi).

Sairme – 50 GEL
Signagi – 50 GEL
Fshavi – 25 GEL
Fasanauri -15 GEL
Chili Lake – 5 GEL
Narikala -30 GEL

Para-gliding – it is a free-flying glider aircraft. The pilot sits in a harness suspended below a fabric wing. Wing shape is maintained by the suspension lines, the pressure of air entering vents in the front of the wing, and the aerodynamic forces of the air flowing over the outside. People can paraglide in Tbilisi and Rustavi (a city near Tbilisi) every weekend. Apart from the cities, paragliding can be arranged in other regions of Georgia if requested.

Tbilisi paragliding includes video recording and costs 60 Gel, as for Rustavi – it doesn’t contain video recording and costs 50 GEL.

Rafting- It is a recreational outdoor activity which uses an inflatable raft to navigate a river. For beginners, Borjomi (a resort town in Georgia), Pshavi and Fasanauri (mountainous region in eastern Georgia) rafting tours are offered for 40 GEL. As for the Rioni River (main river of western Georgia), only experienced sportsmen are allowed to raft here and costs 80 GEL.

Georgian parks offer various extreme rides in the seaside parts of Georgia and in Tbilisi. The park “Firefly” between Ureki and Qobuleti (seaside regions of Georgia) offers Kamikadze rides for 7 GEL, Free Fall for 6 GEL, Booster – 10 GEL and Roller Coaster – 10 GEL. People can also enjoy a Roller Coaster ride for 10 GEL and Rafting for 5.5 GEL at Mtastminda Amusment Park in Tbilisi.

Extreme sea rides in Georgia include scooters, Banana Sea Boat and Parachute. The parachute in Batumi costs 80 GEL, while in Qobuleti it costs 50 GEL. The Banana Sea Boat costs only 5 GEL, as for scooters, they cost 50 GEL.

X-park – Pshavi (mountainous region in eastern Georgia) invites anyone who loves adventure and extreme to its amusement park. Adventure Park is a modern sports-entertainment village for children and adults created from ropes. X-park in Pshavi has easy and difficult routes for 20 and 30 GEL respectively.

Off-road – It is getting more and more popular in Georgia every day. Off-road involves overcoming the most challenging routes with automobiles. Georgia hosts various international off-road tournaments for experienced drivers. Inexperienced ones can also take part in the sport. The participation fee depends on the type of routes.
