Canadian businessman plans to build a hotel in Bakhmaro

Canadian businessman Vadim Malishev plans to build a hotel in Bakhmaro resort, Guria, in the western part of Georgia. Canadian businessman Vadim Malishev plans to build a hotel in Bakhmaro resort, Guria, in the western part of Georgia. He has already met with the Governor of Guria – Merab Chanukvadze. The investor intends to build holiday bungalows, where visitors will be able to enjoy a family style environment.

“I want to build bungalows in Bakhmaro” – says Vadim, “Visitors will be
hosted by families. Every cottage will be themed to represent characteristics of the various Georgian regions and their hosting features. I am negotiating with the Ministry of Economics about the possibility of buying real estate. The Governor has promised full support for this initiative to start and develop this business. I am very grateful for that. My primary aim is to offer visitors to Bakhmaro a resort of healing features”.

The Governor confirmed that they have discussed the criteria that the investor will need to fulfill in order to receive support from the Government. “If the interests of the investor and the State coincide, we will have an interesting and attractive investment in Bakhmaro. This will facilitate the development of the resort” – says Merab Chanukvadze.
