Employee of the Kazbegi police quit in protest

Employee of the Kazbegi police, Dodo Chochoshvili, has quit after release of the video footage showing torture of prisoners.
‘I started working as a police officer in 2008. My job was everything to me, though after the release of the video footage I felt humiliated as a Georgian, as a mother and as a policewoman. I did not have a moral right to stay in police’, Dodo Chochoshvili said.
The above-mentioned fact was confirmed by Irakli Kalandaze, the deputy chief

of the Kazbegi police.
