Specialists assess that Fukushima and Chernobyl disasters equal, German edition Deutsche Welle informs .
According to the article, outcomes of blast at Japan’s nuclear plant will be reflected outside Japan. Physicist and human rights protector Sebastian Pfliuglobeil says that explosions at the nuclear plants will cause leak of the radioactive elements, adding that this was outcome of Chernobyl disaster in 1986.
He says that the reactor core will be exposed to the environment.
“There will not be fire that was in

Chernobyl, but now there is fear of strong local radioactive pollution – about 500 kilometers. The results will be fatal for Japanese people, who are densely populated then it was in Chernobyl”, the physicist said.
He advises people of Japan to stay in, though he adds that most of the buildings are ruined by quake and tsunami and people are outside.
“They are actually unprotected. As the radio active iodine is released into the atmosphere, iodine tablets will be necessary to be delivered to the population, as it will be the only way of protection”, the Physicist said.
He doesn’t trust Japanese government’s statement that Europe is not in danger as even the most insignificant radiation effects the whole system of healthcare.
