“Sidewalks for Pedestrians”- Street Photo Contest and Exhibition

To express protest against the cars parked on the sidewalks, the organization “Iare Pekhit” will conduct a street photo contest/exhibition supporting the rights of pedestrians, on Sunday, November 17, at 2:00 p.m. in front of the “Imeli Building” on Rustaveli Ave. The contest is free for anyone who wants to support the cause and wishes to participate.

 

The goal of the exhibition is to emphasize the volume and the importance of the problem of pavement parking.

The rules of participating in the

contest/exhibition are the following:

1) Download the attached pdf file and print several copies.

2) Cut out each warning and place the paper slip on the windshield of the car parked on the pavement illegally or obstructively.

3) Take a picture of the car, with the warning on the windshield and send it to us before November 15, to the e-mail address: iarepekhit@gmail.com

Send your name, last name and your shoe size along with the photograph.

4)  On November 17, all submitted photographs will be exhibited on the “Imeli Building” fence and three winners will be selected randomly through a lottery. Every other submitted photograph will count as a separate lottery ticket. The event will close with a pedestrian march and all three winners will receive original green color “Converse – All Star” high-top sneakers of their size. In order to receive the prize, the winner must be present at the event.
