“For me, as well as for any other artist, it is very important to be presented in front of such a big audience, be it through an exhibition or any other event. Trivial, as it may sound, the most important thing on the way to success is hard work, discipline and experiments. This is particularly important in the USA, because it is very difficult to surprise the audience here. They are used to many different exhibitions, be it of antique or modern art,” Sopo tells Georgian Journal.

This was Sopo’s sixth exhibition in New York and as she says, she has always feels great interest from the visitors.

“I can say that every exhibition causes a kind of a chain reaction. That means that people who saw my works in the previous exhibition, contact me for the next one. That also means more work, because if a some time ago I could allow myself a little rest, now I am constantly working. As far as this particular exhibition is concerned, I had less than a month to prepare for it and I tried to do my best. I was happy to see so many people here, interested in my art,” Sopo tells us.
