Botticelli’s Venus has already arrived in Georgia
Botticelli’s masterpiece Venus has already been transferred to Georgia. The installation process has just finished in Georgian National Museum National Gallery, Tbilisi.

The art lovers can attend the exhibition and see world masterpiece from October 5. Address: Dimitri Shevardnadze National Gallery, 11 Shota Rustaveli Ave. Tbilisi, Georgia. The museum’s working hours are: 10: 00-20: 00.

As a reminder, from 5 October to 29 November, besides Sandro Botticelli, Tbilisi will host the exhibition of renowned Italian artist Caravaggio’s reproductions. The two
exhibitions are united under on title: “Universal Values”: Sandro Botticelli - The Beauty, Caravaggio - The Light.

Sandro Botticelli's Venus is preserved in Sabauda Gallery, Turin, since 1930. Venus, according to the Neoplatonic era philosophy, the artworks is a manifestation of the dualistic nature of love: sensual and divine.

The exhibition of Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio's masterpieces unifies 40 naturally sized high-quality digital reproductions.
