Lika Kavzhardze’s artworks on display – First exhibition of most charming Georgian actress
The exhibition of great Georgian actress and symbol of Georgian beauty Lika Kavzharadze’s artworks has opened in Tbilisi. The artworks of famous actress are exhibited at Art Gallery Vake, Vake District, Irakli Abashidze Str. 47, Tbilisi. The exhibition will last until the actress’s birthday, October 26.

Approximately 20 paintings by recently deceased iconic Georgian actress are presented within the exhibition. Sadly, on October 11, one of the most beautiful and talented Georgian women was found dead at
her apartment. In her last days, she was preparing to organize her very first solo exhibition. Now unfortunately, the event is being held without Lika.

In the form of an auction, the portraits of Lika painted by various artists are being sold as well.

Lika Kavzhardze (26 October 1959 – 11 October 2017) was a legendary Georgian actress and a symbol of Georgian women’s heavenly beauty.

Kavzharadze stood out not only for her beauty, but for her varied talents. Apart from the films, she tried herself in painting and modeling business as well.

Lika was passionate about visual arts, especially after her mother passed away. She was 30 years old when this tragedy occurred and since then she has been painting.

As the actress recalled, the process of drawing brought her inner peace and calmness. In her paintings, she expressed her feelings and emotions. Lika’s paintings reflect her personal beauty and individualism.

The actress passed away at the age of 57. On October 26 she would have turned 58. She was buried at Vake Cemetery.
