The Book Museum Tbilisi, one of the biggest book museums in the Caucasus region located at National Library of Georgia featured at TripAdvisor, American travel website company. From now on, travelers and book lovers throughout the world can get all necessary information about this newly opened museum. The Book museum was launched in November 2017.The project was funded by Davit Bezhuashvili Education Foundation.The first ever Book Museum in Georgia has over 19,000 rare books. It should be mentioned that newly opened book museum is a permanent exposition space. The venue hosts a permanent display of rare historical books preserved in Georgia.

The Book Museum includes four spaces, representing a museum of rare books, with a Georgian-Italian dictionary published in 1629 as one of its exponents, or books printed by Georgian King Vakhtang the VI's typography.

The second part is the museum of Knight in the Panther’s Skin, medieval epic poem written in the 12th century by Georgia's national poet Shota Rustaveli, with existing publications of the poem in Georgian as well as foreign languages.

The third space is Ilia’s hall, exposition of great Georgian writer, political figure, poet, and publisher Ilia Chavchavadze cabinet, with his private belongings and library.

The fourth part is the Marie Brosset book depository.

The Book Museum is an incredible historic heritage which defines national identity and shows it to others, not only tourists, but Georgians as well.
