Katie Melua Performs in Georgia on her own birthday
On the 16th of September, Georgia hosted the Georgian born British singer Katie Melua in European Square, Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. The concert was free to attend and everyone was welcome to join the celebration.

The concert was organized by the project “Under Tbilisi Sky”. The project aims to diversify the life of the capital, create new centers of cultural, economic and social attraction, develop cultural and creative hubs

Tbilisi’s mayor, Kakha Kaladze was in attendance at the famous singer’s concert and he presented Katie Melua with an “Honourary Citizen of Tbilisi” award. Apart from the award, a symbolic key was also given to the singer as a way of showing that Georgia will always welcome her.
