Find your own precious crafts in Tbilisi
It’s no secret that there are a lot of interesting places in the capital city of Georgia, Tbilisi. Here you can find old architecture mixed with new tall buildings, the soviet soul which is crawling and is noticeable in huge tasteless buildings with this entire Stalin pathos thing. There are a lot of churches with remarkable history, old entrances, also with a rich history, and of course a lot of places to taste delicious and such famous Georgian cuisine.

Today I
would like to draw your attention to the least famous, but very interesting places you can visit in Tbilisi and never forget.

So, if you are ready, let’s start this journey.

We are going to set off from Liberty Square. It is the turning point which can lead you anywhere. And within 1-2 kilometers there is everything you might need for your first impressions. It depends on what you are looking for.

As I have already mentioned, there are a lot of old entrances with some history. For example, there is a house in Machabeli Street with a very beautiful entrance and a lot of legends to go with it. Also nearby there is a house in Tabidze Street with very beautiful entrance (there are paintings on the interior walls) Also in the vicinity there is a renovated London Hotel (down to the 9th April park), which is very famous among the guests of the capital.

If you are interested in multicultural and multireligious buildings, old Tbilisi is the best place to walk around. For example, you can find Catholic, Orthodox, Jewish, Muslim churches in a very close neighbourhood.

As for food, old Tbilisi can offer you a great variety of the Georgian and European cuisine, there are also some vegetarian and vegan cafes around (for example Kiwi) which can offer you very delicious vegan hummus and cream soups, in case you want to taste the famous adjaruli khachapuri, you can visit Machakhela (a small cafe in Leselidze street) and order one. Trust me, you will never taste anything as delicious as this khachapuri.

In case you are here just for shopping, Galeria Tbilisi is right in front of you. It offers you a lot of opportunities to get yourself a gift. Any kinds of gifts you might want. You can even find your Precious there, since 18K Precious Crafts shop is always at your service! And for your information, February 14th is on its way, too. So, if you’ve been thinking of getting a very beautiful, original and preciously amazing necklace, bracelet, ring or some valuable jewelry made of Italian gold in Tbilisi, you will find yourself in a really right place! The wide selection which the showroom offers you definitely won’t leave you disappointed, and you can take some really precious crafts from Tbilisi.

Are there any other places near Liberty Square? Theatres, cinemas, breathtaking narrow streets - you can find anything to your own taste. So, take a deep breath and have an amazing journey.
