Classic British suits made in Georgia
Classic suits and outfit are yet again becoming trendy worldwide and Georgia, of course, is not excluded. Whether after watching Peaky Blinders or Kingsman, men become attracted with their classy outfits. Luckily, there is tailor’s place in Georgia where one can get bespoke suits of classic British style.

Not so long ago, the men's brand UGE.MEN appeared in Tbilisi. All the clothes and accessories are made in Georgia. Although the English classical image of the 1920s is more visible in style
and presentation, much of what makes the brand is close to the Tbilisi intelligentsia of the past century. Classic shirts, suits, vests, and of course caps and ties are largely made in single copies or altogether custom-made by individual standards. Founders of the brand, Yulia Veletskaya and Theo Falavandishvili, created an friendly atmosphere in the store, more reminiscent of being a guest rather than a client, where they talk to you, offer a drink from coffee and tea to wine and whiskey. And the store itself resembles an apartment of a single man from the past: a study, paintings, large windows overlooking a Tbilisi courtyard, funny cries of children. As the details come together, they create harmony and are disposed to spend time leisurely.

Who are the customers?

- Initially, the attention to the brand was mainly only among Georgian men, but now we receive orders from different parts of the world: England, the Netherlands, the USA, the United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia. And we are damn pleased to hear the words: Georgia, you are cool.

What is the main style and idea behind the brand?

- We did not invent a bicycle, we just love it when a man looks elegant, stylish, tasteful, without kitsch. I suppose, it seems that a real man does not need to prove his style, it is in his blood, it can be seen right away, handsome, comfortable in any society, and of course with a UGE.MEN shirt in his wardrobe.

What does UGE.MEN stand for?

Everything is clear with the second word, and the first one stands for “yoU are GEorgia”, we are proud that it is here in Tbilisi that we make our men's clothing, therefore it was important to convey the main message in the name.

Here are some photos from the atelier and UGE.MEN products.
