The 6th Millionth Tourist ad claims first silver Lion for Georgia in Cannes

Winners of PR Lions have been announced at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity and Windfor's ad was among the winners for the first time in its history. The 6th Millionth Tourist Campaign was shortlisted in three categories winning a Bronze and a Silver Lion, making it the first Silver for Georgia.

The clip was filmed by the initiative of Georgia’s National Tourism Administration and is dedicated to the arrival of the tourist number 6 000 000 in the country.

In 2016, Georgia hosted the record number of visitors and it was the first year when the number exceeded 6 million. That was the reason why the National Tourism Administration decided to film the video.

Georgian participants have won two more prizes at Cannes Lions. Windfor’s work called Dinner With Georgia has earned a silver and a bronze prizes.
