The “magical” place in Georgia where the blood formula changes in 21 days
Georgia boasts wide variety of resorts that stand out for their landscape, climate and healing features. According to the experts of resorts, Georgia has a big advantage in this field. Bakhmaro, that is one of country’s 103 resorts, is a unique place, recognized for its special healing features.

Bakhmaro's uniqueness lies in the combination of the sea and mountain airs. As the experts state, here the blood formula changes in 21 days and the human immune system gets better. The
key secret to this magical effect is that the air in Bakhmaro is clean and transparent and the level of ultraviolet radiation is low. As a result, these conditions speed up the recovery process of a human body. The air in Bakhmaro is always clean and transparent, since it is located at 2050 meters above the sea level, at Meskheti ridge. The area represents an evergreen forest covered by spruce and fir trees.

Before the uniqueness of Bakhmaro was scientifically proved, people considered human recovery as a miracle. In the 1980ies a doctor named Artem Davyantz, sent patients to Bakhmaro where they recovered. It happened that this doctor himself became sick with tuberculosis. He went to Bakhmaro and, as a result, recovered himself. In the 1920s scientists have officially recognized that in Bakhmaro there is a combination of the sea and mountain airs, which seems to be the best way to heal from the diseases, such as the respiratory tract problems, anemia, neurasthenia and lymphatic complications.

Tamar Chilingarishvili, the Doctor of Medicine, TSU Professor, the expert of resorts:

“Generally, it is accepted: it’s good to rest first in the mountains and then on the seaside. Bakhmaro is unique, because here the mountain air and the sea air are merged and all the positive effects that are characteristic ro the mountain climate and the sea climate are collected together. This allows us to get a double benefit from one resort - make your body twice as much healthier. The place boasts clean and transparent air. This purity s is provided by the varied coniferous forest, which fills its climate with a pleasant aroma and enriches it with phytocytes. This area is rich in natural spring waters too. The holiday season begins in Bakhmaro in June, when the pine blossom starts and continues until October”, - The doctor reports.

This resort has a positive impact on people of any age, especially on children. After spending a time here, human body becomes healthier, the number of erythrocytes in blood increases, immune system undergoes some positive changes and the body becomes healthier.
