Tbilisi among 22 European cities you'd never thought to visit (but really should)
The Telegraph, popular British daily newspaper, published an article about 22 European cities you might never thought to visit, but you definitely should. These cities deserve more travelers and they should be favorite destinations for tourists from all over the world.

Tbilisi, Georgia’s beautiful and attractive capital, is among them, occupying one of the leading positions.

According to the article, Tbilisi is a city where the past meets modernity and it feels like a real European city finally coming into
itself.

Here is what The Telegraph tells about Tbilisi:
geotv.ge
Tbilisi, Georgia: Claire Allfree recommends getting lost in the splendour of the Georgian capital. "These days, it is fine Art Nouveau buildings and pretty, traditional balconied houses are what some would call shabby chic: if any city needed a good lick of Farrow and Ball, this one does. Yet new hotels and shopping malls are springing up. Tbilisi feels like a city finally coming into itself".

Katie Melua, the singer, is another fan - it is, after all, her childhood home. "It is steeped history - the Old Town, with its twisting alleys, is particularly fascinating", she says. "It is a city that is very much off the beaten track. Not many tourists have been there, which makes it all the more worth visiting."
