Discovery Channel's video on Georgian wine going viral across Europe

Discovery Channel made a video about Georgian wine. In the video, the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili speaks about Georgian culture, centuries-old winemaking tradition, kvevri (large earthenware vessels used for the fermentation, storage and ageing of traditional Georgian wine) and Georgian hospitality.

Discovery Channel's video presents attractive tourist destinations in Georgia. The video made by one of the most popular TV channels in the world has been watched by millions of viewersin internationally.

The video was released in Germany,
Great Britain, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Estonia and Southeastern European countries.

The footage is dedicated to the exhibition at the museum Cité du Vin, in the world’s wine capital Bordeaux, France. The exhibition titled "Georgia - The Cradle of Wine" was opened on July 31 and will last until the end of November. Georgia is the first invited country, which opened the cycle of viticulture and winemaking exhibitions at the center of wine civilization. Additionally Georgia has become the honorable host of the Wine Civilization Museum.

Unique archaeological and ethnographic samples from the National Museum of Georgia have been presented in Bordeaux Cultural Wine Center, confirming that Georgia is a country of ancient wine civilization.
