Georgia's gorgeous places to visit in Autumn
Autumn is arguably the most beautiful time of the year, when you want take a walk in the forests painted in yellow and take some photos. There are lots and lots of forests like that in our country, which are quite accessible and as for the environment, it’s really impressive.

Racha-Lechkhumi, Shida and Kvemo Kartli regions are characterized by mixed forests with red, yellow, brown, gray and dark green leaves and coniferous trees. Beka Bukhrashvili, the Vice-President of the National
Hiking Federation says Racha-Lechkhumi region’s Shovi and Utsera villages are particularly beautiful in autumn and you will see a wide variety of colorful flora.

"For example, there are pathways from Tskhrajvari to St. George’s monastery, from where you go to the village of Nikortsminda and on to the lower villages of Racha, namely Tskmori, Gogoleti, etc. These places offer a landscape that is mixed with coniferous and deciduous forests that make a spectacular sight.

Kvemo Kartli and Shida Kartli regions are no less beautiful. You can see the colorful forests in the Gudarekhi and Birtvisi areas, which are quite simple to access. "There are many crossing trails in Manglisi, Kaspi municipality, as well as the road going through the shady woodlands of Tskhvarichamia, where there are some very beautiful views. Rkoni is very nice too, from where you can go to Kldekari. Both are the areas of Shida Kartli and there are many mixed forests there", - Bukhrashvili adds.
