New video about charming seaside city of Batumi goes viral

Adjara Tourism Department has produced yet another video about Batumi, Georgia’s beautiful seaside town located in Adjara Region, southwestern part of the country. The video is aimed at promoting domestic tourism. The video is accompanied with a music by Niaz Diasamidze, a famous Georgian musician, singer and songwriter, known as the lead singer and a founder of the Georgian folk-rock band 33a.

The footage was shot by advertising company "Look Production," under the order of Adjara Tourism
According to the head of the Adjara Tourism Department Sulkhan Glonti, the footage perfectly expresses the uniqueness of the city of Batumi.
“The purpose of the video is to promote internal tourism, as it is very important topic for us. We want our visitors to see this beautiful city full of local residents. The video includes elements that are characterized to Batumi. I want to thank everyone who worked on this project” - The head of the Adjara Tourism Department noted.
In 2017, Adjara Tourism Department made five video footages in total about the Adjarian tourism products and sights. Some of the videos were aired by the world’s leading broadcasting companies such as BBC, Euronews and CNN.
