According to the Guardian, Tbilisi’s foodie revolution started in 2011, when young chef Meriko Gubeladze opened her fusion restaurant Shavi Lomi.

“Now the city’s contemporary culture is making its mark, earning the city a reputation as an edgy party destination” – the article reads. The author of the article stresses the nightlife in Tbilisi and names two most successful and popular clubs of the capital: Bassiani and Khidi (it is noteworthy that both of them opened in recent years), as well as LGBT-friendly Cafe Gallery and Success Bar.

As a conclusion, leading British publication highly recommends to consider Georgia among your must-visit list. “Last year, Georgian Airlines started direct flights from Gatwick (a major international airport in south-east England), and though they’re not the most convenient connections (flying through the night on Wednesday or Saturday), it still halves the journey time to this dynamic city” – The Guardian reports.

After Tbilisi, there are 38 more amazing travel destinations on the list, with Palermo, the Sicilian capital on the 3rd position, Leeuwarden-Friesland, Greece, Flanders, Paris, Valletta, Amsterdam, Corsica, Bratislava, Valencia, Cairo, Fez, South Africa, etc.
