10 things to do in Tbilisi - recommendations from a blogger
www.lifeinexcess.com published an article about Georgia. The webpage belongs to a traveller and “a lifestyle blogger” kirsty. She advises other travellers to put Georgia on their must see place list. She thinks Georgia is extremely affordable as is the price for food and wine.
“Excellent wine, food and warm summers” – this is how the blogger begins to describe Georgia. The capital offers travellers a variety of places to visit. The blogger names ten must see places in Tbilisi, Georgia.

1. The
cable car – which connects the old and modern parts of Tbilisi, crossing over the Mtkvari River. Rike Park is situated in the modern part and from the park a cable car will take visitors to the Narikala fortress in the old part of the capital. From the fortress, you can either return on the cable car or walk down.

Georgian cuisine: Khachapuri and local wine

3 and 4 The next “must experience” things in Tbilisi, are Georgian wine and cuisine. The blogger knows about “qvevri” earthenware vessels: “the traditional method of using clay pots or qvevri, filled with grapes, left to ferment and then buried in the ground to age, lends the wine a unique flavour and unlike any that I've tasted elsewhere in the world.” Cheese filled bread “Khachapuri” and filled dumplings “Khinkali” are her favorite Georgian meals.
