A trip to Georgia always involves observing unique forests spread throughout the country. Every tree tells a story that is beautifully reflected in the photos taken by gifted photographers. Look at some of the unique trees captured by a famous Georgian photographer Giorgi Nikolava.

Samegrelo, a beautiful western region in Georgia boasts its unique nature. There is a lime tree in Samegrelo which is believed to be the oldest in the world. The tree has a massive trunk and branches covered
with moss. Another stunning place to visit in Samegrelo is the Dadiani Palace. The avenue with the row of tall thin trees on each side leads to the palace. Walking between the trees makes you a middle age nobleman strolling along his/her palace yard.

If you decide to observe the Kintrishi Protected Areas in Adjara, you will derive great pleasure from seeing the valley of the river Kintrishi and the Kobuleti forest. Finding your way into the forest, one will find a number of tall and massive trees. The trees usually expose their roots above the ground.

There is nothing as delightful as a small lake surrounded by colorful trees. Breathtaking Shaori Lake in Racha is a must-see place in in the country. Although it is one of the least densely populated areas in Georgia, its unique nature will leave you speechless.
