Georgian Watch Brand “Tsikolia” may bring the production from Switzerland to Georgia
Georgian designer Zviad Tsikolia may bring the production of his watch brand from Switzerland to Georgia. He believes it is possible to manufacture better watches in Georgia. His ambition to bring the production back home requires huge financial resources and Zviad is currently in the process of soliciting investments.

Zviad Tsikolia set up a private watch brand in 2011. All the designs had been created in Georgia and then manufactured in Switzerland. Since 2015, the company has been presented under the
designer’s second name “Tsikolia”. His watches are categorized into three lines: Motor Transport, Aviation, and Navy. Each model is unique and named after those cars, airplanes, and ships changing history. Tsikolia Design has been awarded two times by world’s most prestigious design award RED DOT in 2006 for concept “Fashion watch” design and in 2014 for “Uniq P-47” watch packaging design.

“I am eager to bring the production from Switzerland into Georgia. However, it requires huge financial resources and we are now in the process of soliciting investments. I am trying to find a way how to make it possible. Besides, Georgia is not familiarized with the experience and re-training of the personnel will involve further resources. But I have the ambition to create better watches in Georgia. Let’s see what happens - only time will tell.
