Kazbegi

Kazbegi situated in the north of Georgia is home to Mount Kazbegi (or Mkinvartsveri in the local language) which is the third highest mountain in the country. It is a great place for outdoor activities such as ice climbing, mountaineering, horse riding, paragliding,
and bike riding. It is known for its glaciers, natural mineral waters and the historical marvels like the ancient Gergeti Trinity Church, built in the 14th century. From the church, you get a great view of the Kuro Mountains, one of Georgia’s most magnificent mountain ranges.

Walking through the streets of Old Tbilisi

The district Old Tbilisi is located on both sides of the Mtkvari River and houses Mount Mtatsminda, Narikala fortress, and the Kartlis Deda monument. The venue is full of churches, museums, sulfur bathhouses, and peculiar wooden houses with open carved balconies. The cable car, which connects the old and modern parts of Tbilisi, crosses over the Mtkvari River. Rike Park is situated in the modern part and from the park, the cable car will take visitors to the Narikala fortress. The fortress overlooks the capital – it offers tourist the best view over the entire city.

Green Lake in Adjara

Green lake in the alpine region of Adjara is a must-see place in Georgia. The lake is located near the Goderdzi pass at 2058 meters above sea level between the mountain range dividing the west part of Georgia from the east. It is surrounded by beech forest mirrored in the lake. Green Lake receives water from high mountain springs and it comes as no surprise that it is cold as ice.
