'Make America Great Again'

'Make America Great Again'
The title of this editorial is copied from a presidential campaign slogan – behold, somebody wants to make America great all over again. What an outstanding courage! Decision of the century! Readiness to take pains while that somebody can easily survive without any pains because he is already rich and famous and young and handsome too, for that matter! His name has been trendy and popular over a quarter of a century now –
Trump empire, Trump towers, Trump estate, Trump divorce, Trump marriage, Trump wives, Trump children, and now, the Trump presidency. Hey, welcome to America! The guy made up his mind to conquer the White House and nobody can get in his way if he does the shtick correctly and righteously, using diligently the vibrant American political decency if the term is relevant at all.

Donald Trump is different, very different. His style of promoting his truth is absolutely standing out, shocking America to death. He is open, dashing and transparent as a precocious youngster, who is being told by his perplexed mother to shut up, but he can’t help it – he has to get it off his chest, otherwise he might suffocate and finally burst anyway. Saying that he is successful will sound like an egregious understatement. He is an epitome of success and embodiment of all that a good businessman can do for fellow humans. He is also a man who has raised a family with a very impressive business acumen and intellectual potential, working successfully to the benefit of their country. One can say without exaggeration that Trump has created more jobs in America and has paid more taxes to Uncle Sam than all American congressmen taken together throughout history. He is a person who says and actually does, and whose word and money usually stand together.

I certainly understand that all those biographical panegyrics are trivial and cheap to continue with – go instead to internet generics and enjoy them along with just as trivial slur on him as much as you wish! I am not going to make it a big secret that I am ready to vote for Trump when time comes to, but I still have my second thoughts and misgivings to this end. Look, when I express my rather gullible desire to see Trump more self-controlling and presidential in his regular campaigning interaction with public, I am usually hushed by my conservative colleagues, not ambiguously tipped by them to be more patient with him because if he changes, he might no longer be a Trump – naturally expressive, eccentric and articulate. Donald Trump cannot be a reserved, bashful and uptight campaigner as most of his opponents are. He is not afraid to either do or say anything, and this irritates those who are not used to his newly suggested style of running.

Most politicians are not open and courageous enough to put in words what they actually think, being afraid to be politically incorrect or misunderstood by constituency. Trump’s anger and the American public indignation with the government are identical in character, which is why the future electorate wants to identify with him. Who would dare say except him that America needs to be great again, making a rash and loud political statement that America is no longer great and it needs undelayable help to become great again. Now the question is if the current highly liberalized America needs and is ready to accept Trump’s conservative help. Either way is possible – it might or it might not! This needs thorough research and keen-eye observation of the current political process in the United States – the most diversified and motley it has ever been historically.

Predictably, if American greatness is still treasured in the ideals the American people have always nursed and cherished, then the poised conservative knight called Donald Trump is out there to assume the responsible role of the savior of Republican philosophy and movement if it still makes sense at present. As the saying has it, anything is possible in politics – the most unpredictable trade in the world. Don Trump has a huge potential to survive and lead, although he might possibly need some indispensable political training and relevant qualification for this because it isn’t easy to be surfing safely over the roaring billows and foaming white waters of the contemporary American reality, which has never been simple since the first New England settlers had probed into the lands of the new world.

Having watched and analyzed the recent Republican debate on the subject of the upcoming new American presidency, one would jump to conclusion that there is every reason to believe in creating a powerful new trend for actually saving America from the raging liberalism, disguised in the tawdry clothing of freedom and democracy. The flamboyant – as he is often described by media – American billionaire Donald Trump could lead the parade, provided the learned American electorate understands that saving the quarter of a millennium traditional American values, based on the great Western political culture, is a worthy job to do so that America not only reinstates its historical greatness but also maintains it in centuries to come. It is bad that America’s greatness has become questionable, but this is not the end. Its sons and daughters still have enough sense of traditional Americanism to save the day for their beloved motherland.
