American teacher performs Georgian movie song on Talent show
17 December, 2013
Twenty-seven-year old US-born Lauren Schuberth has been living and teaching English in Gori for two years now. She likes going to the Gori market for products and says she feels herself a bit Georgian after spending some years in the country.
Lauren’s sister and grandmother traveled from the States to support her in the “Georgia’s Got Talent” show. Her performance featured an original and emotional piece of laundress Vardo, a main character from the Georgian musical “Vera District Melodies”.
