At the opening day of the festival, Russian rock singer Zemfira continued her habit of making her political views known, unfurling a Ukrainian flag and waving it around.
This action caused a storm of (powerless) rage in Russia, both among politicians and the general public.
Georgian music lovers, on the contrary, were quite pleased by Zemfira’s performance, especially after her band performed its own instrumental interpretation of an old song “Chito-Gvrito” from a cult Georgian movie Mimino.
