Echowaves – a new music festival in Anaklia, Georgia

Anaklia, a seaside resort in Georgia will soon host a new music festival Echowaves. The festival is a part of “Exit” which is one of the most popular festivals in Europe. Exit was established in 2000 as a student movement fighting for the independence of Serbia. The festival has united artist such as Depeche Mode, Guns N’ Roses, Massive Attacks, Arctic Monkeys, Jamiroqui, etc.

Echowaves will host 150 artists of diverse genre including: Die Antwoord, Tricky, Solomun, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann,
Juan Atkins, Function, Kayakata, NU, Woo York, Henrik Schwarz, Antigoe, DJ TENNIS, Greenbeam & Leon etc. A Camping area and other facilities such as Zip-line, football, basketball, film screenings, workshops, board games and other educational, cultural, sport or social projects will be organized at the venue.

The festival will last for 4 days, between the 23rd-26th of August. The festival brings quality underground music to the sunny beach of Anaklia with the perfect Caucasus Mountains. It will provide different stages such as Main Stage, KHIDI Stage, EYE Stage, Taiyo stage and Aqua stage for all kinds of music lovers. The festival aims to create an attraction for tourists and positively affect the region’s cultural development.
