Khinkali, which is a Georgian type of dumpling, originated in mountainous regions of Mtiuleti, Pshavi and Khevsureti. Later
Khinkali varieties spread across the Caucasus region. They are made with mixed pork and beef, sometimes with lamb. You can also use mushrooms, potatoes, or cheese instead of meat as filling for Khinkali.

Ingredients:

500 g minced pork and beef
600 g wheat flour
water- as needed
3 onions
Black pepper, salt, caraway – depending on personal taste
