Simple dumplings with melted butter and onion

Boiled dough  with braised onion is a type of Georgian dumplings made from Khinkali leftovers. The dish is extremely delicious and very easy to prepare. In case you have leftovers from khinkali dough, don't throw it away,since it is a perfect way to make another dish.

Ingredients:

500-600 ready khinkali dough
5 onions
Butter or boiled butter (erbo)
One jar matsoni (Georgian unsweetened yogurt)
4-5 cloves of garlic

Preparation:

Flatten dough and cut in small square pieces, or shape small
portions of the dough into long "snakes" and then cut them into small pieces. Place pieces of dough in a boiling salty water and boil at medium heat. When dumplings are ready drain the excess water. Meanwhile chop onion finely and fry in butter or erbo. Add salt to onions to your taste and mix well. In a separate bowl mix matsoni with crushed garlic. Place ready boiled dough on plate, pour friend onion together with butter over it and garnish with matsoni on top. You can consume the dish with fried onion and melted butter as well as sprinkle with grated cheese to your taste.
