Borano – Cheese omlette from Adjara

Adjarian dishes are an integral part of Georgian cuisine and its culture. Adjarian cuisine is rich in milk products and cheese dishes. Borano is one of the most delicious and simple dishes of Adjarian cuisine. There are two versions of
borano, one is served in the form of melted cheese in butter while the second version is prepared with cheese and eggs. Here we present to you the second variation of borano with eggs and cheese.

Ingredients:

100 g young Georgian cheese (preferably sulguni)
4 eggs
100 ml milk
1 tablespoon sunflower oil
1 tablespoon butter
Salt to taste

Preparation:

Beat eggs. Add milk, little bit of salt, sunflower oil and mix well. Add grated cheese to the mixture and stir. Melt butter in the pan, pour the egg mixture and place it in the preheated oven at 150 degrees. Bake until golden color for about 30 minutes. When the omlette is baked place it on the plate and garnish with greenery.
