Kaurma - Delicious Georgian dish made with beef
Although this is not a dish commonly known to tourists, if you’re the kind of person who likes trying out foods from various types of cuisines then you should definitely give Kaurma a try. The dish originates in the mountains of Georgia and is made using traditional methods and utensils that shepherds would have used in the old days.

This food is much underrated in Georgia however; very delicious.

To prepare Kaurma here is a list of ingredients needed:

1 beef
ginger
500 g of onions
1 cup of water
White wine
2 corianders
1 cup of tomato sauce

Put the finely chopped ginger together with the chopped onion in water and bring to the boil. Then turn down the heat and, add the herbs and chopped coriander, with the tomato sauce, add more hot water - to get the desired thickness – boil until the meat is fully prepared.
