15 November, 2012

One member of the parliamentary minority and one from the majority will be allowed to visit Bacho Akhalaia in prison.
According to MP Nugzar Tsiklauri, Akaki Minashvili will be the one from the parliamentary minority which will be allowed to visit Bacho Akhalaia at any time, while Eka Beselia was selected from the majority.
"They will be allowed to visit Akhalaia at any time. I can’t say how long this will last, but it is likely to last for one

month or at least two weeks. This will continue as long as there is a danger regarding Akhalaia’s health’, said Tsiklauri.
According to him, it was a political decision to move Bacho Akhalaia to the 7th penitentiary facility. ‘It was Bidzina Ivanishvili’s personal decision and I don’t think it was a moral decision’, Tsiklauri said.
