Shota Khizanishvil’s Office and house Searched Yesterday

The ffice of and house of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Vice Mayor Shota Khizanishvili was searched yesterday night by law enforcers.
As journalists were told by the spokesperson of Tbilisi City Hall Bacho Dolidze, representatives of the prosecutor’s office arrived at City Hall yesterday at 12:00.
“Their visit was unexpected; everything happened without warning, at 12:00. At first they demanded a meeting with the leadership. Of course we met and then they demanded to search Shota Khizanishvili’s

office, which lasted about half an hour. As we know, the computer was taken”, Bacho Dolidze said.
City Hall spokesperson says that they were not shown a search warrant.
“They didn’t leave any documents, but we would not resist. We are ready to collaborate with the law enforcement bodies, though we demand adequate measures from them too”, the spokesperson of Tbilisi City Hall said.
Shota Khizanishvil’s house was also searched, which is located on Paliashvili Street. Family members attended the search. The law enforcers left without comments.
