Philip Gordon – I’m Glad that in this Difficult Situation, Democratic Transformation Still occurs

Everything done for the democratic development of Georgia is important, US Assistant Secretary of State Philip Gordon told journalists after meeting chairperson of parliament Davit Usupashvili.
“I’m glad that in this difficult and critical situation, the democratic transformation still occurs in Georgia. I’m sure the U.S. will continue to support Georgia”, Philip Gordon said.
The meeting took place behind closed doors at Tbilisi Marriott hotel and lasted about 40 minutes. The meeting was attended by U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard

Norland and chairperson of the foreign relations committee of parliament Tedo Japaridze.
