Ecuador says WikiLeaks founder has chronic lung condition - Euronews
29 November, 2012
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is said to have a chronic lung infection which could “worsen at any time”, Euronews reports.
According to the South American country’s ambassador to Britain the condition has been sparked by his living in a confined space.
Assange, whose website angered the United States by releasing thousands of secret diplomatic cables, has been holed up inside Ecuador’s embassy in London since June.
He is wanted in Sweden for questioning over rape and sexual assault allegations. Assange
has denied any wrongdoing, Euronews informs.
