Georgian MP’s English speech at the European Council causes stir on social media
02 October, 2015
Koba Subeliani, a member of the National Movement party and the parliamentary minority , has uploaded on his Facebook page the speech made by Eka Beselia, the chairwoman of the Committee on Human Rights and a member of ‘Georgian Dream’ coalition, at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. ‘The first one, well, let it go hang, but I didn’t think she would be so bold as to do it again …They just keep amazing the Europeans. This is too
much, I would say’, says Subeliani. However, as Subeliani’s friends and other members of the National Movement say in their comments, it turns out that Beselia has improved her English, because comparing to last year’s speech, this one was way better.
