"First of all, let me thank you Mr. Prime Minister for inviting me to visit Georgia and enabling us to discus very important issues and
conduct an intensive political dialogue between our countries. I want to point out that Georgia is the main trade partner of Lithuania in the South Caucasus region. We have always been very warm towards Georgia. Our common approach to security and international issues and recognition of sovereignty and territorial integrity are the fundamental principles that firmly connect us.

Recently Georgia has been absolutely fairly called the Eastern Partnership leader county. We congratulate Georgia on this and the steps taken on the path of European integration. We are also glad that Georgia is highly appreciative of our support. We are sure Georgia will retain its leader positions," said Saulius Skvernelis.
